    20 lb. bond is a common paper choice for simple office forms. It is often used for printer and copier paper, too.

    60 lb. offset is a heavier paper stock, which is stronger than 20 lb. bond yet still cost-effective.

    70 lb. matte text is a common, cost-effective paper stock.

    80 lb. matte text provides an excellent and economical surface for text but is not ideal for reproducing graphics and high-quality images.

    20 lb. carbonless is the standard paper of choice for duplicate business forms.

  6. Glue Edge

    The glue edge refers to the edge of the page where the forms are connected. Most carbonless forms are glued along the top or the left edge. However, we can set up your forms to tear apart along any edge you choose.

  7. Hole Drilling

    Drilling is the printing term for punching holes along the spine edge of a printed item. Three-hole drilling allows your employment forms to be conveniently stored in a standard three-ring binder. 3/16", 1/4", and 5/16" holes are available. Of these, 5/16" is the most common.

  5. Second Sheets (Unprinted)

    ? Why do I need blank second sheets?

    While many sales letters and other correspondence fit neatly on a single sheet of letterhead, there are times when a one-page letter simply won't do. Rather than using letterhead for each page of your longer correspondence, matching second sheets (left unprinted) can save you money, while still providing a great impression.

    Matching sheets consist of the same paper stock as your letterhead, so they complement it perfectly, but are left unprinted, so they cost less to create.

    Spiral BindingSpiral binding involves inserting metal or plastic wire through holes drilled along the left-hand side of each page. A second strip, with matching holes, is placed under the document, allowing the tines to pass through. A machine presses the spine together, so the excess length can be cut from the ends of the tines. Heat is then applied to melt the plastic and seal it tightly together. Velo binding is commonly used for legal documents.
